Backyard Beauty

There is no denying the thrill and excitement it is to travel to and experience exotic locations around the world.  But travel, these days, can be such a drag.

Padding barefooted through airport security and having your intimate body peculiarities exhibited to perfect strangers is perturbing, to say the least.  But it has become necessary, in deference to the current climate of terrorism and less friendly skies now faced by air travel.

Excruciatingly long delays camped out in airport lounges or languishing inside the cramped confines of airplanes is the new normal.

To put it lightly, travel is no longer the fun endeavor it used to be.  And the cost can take a huge bite of your resources if you are not prepared.  That said, you mustn’t allow these unglamorous features of air travel to deter from visiting awesome destinations around the globe.

There are, however, spectacular ‘beauty spots’ that you won’t need to endure airport security to enjoy.  It won’t cost you a dime either since they’re probably in your backyard…almost.

Your backyard being your locality.  Your country or county, your state or parish, your neighborhood.  The local park or forest with the lazy stream meandering through.  Your school or church or even your backyard…literally.

Look around at your surroundings with newly appreciative eyes.  If you don’t you’ll miss the beauty.  The premise of this page is to share local ‘backyard beauty’ spots.

Scroll through the page, click on the images to enlarge and experience the spectacular beauty of familiar surroundings.  Leave a comment if you appreciate the beauty.
